Abstract/Summary
Report on a pilot study that investigated a 10% sample of an assemblage of iron nails, recovered by metal detecting on the scheduled late Iron Age and Roman site at Owmby. The study aimed to deduce the analytical potential of the nail assemblage in terms of typology and condition.
