Abstract/Summary

Archive for the programme of geophysical survey and test pitting, conducted in the grounds of St Vincent's House, Grantham. Features relating to the use of the site as an RAF headquarters during the Second World War were revealed, including the remains of an air-raid trench, an emergency water supply, wall foundations and several compacted surfaces.
