Description

Resistivity surveys, comprising standard earth resistance and vertical electrical sections, were conducted of selected area to the north and west of St Vincent's House, Grantham, as part of a wider research project. Features relating to the use of the site as an RAF headquarters during the Second World War were revealed, including the remains of an air-raid trench, an emergency water supply, wall foundations and several compacted surfaces. {1}{2}
