Date/Year 2015

Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of a single trial trench and a subsequent programme of archaeological monitoring, conducted during residential development on land off Bargate, Lincoln. The remains of several pits, ditches and post holes of uncertain date were recorded. Several of these features were cut by late post-medieval activity, suggesting they pre-dated this period. A small residual assemblage of medieval pottery, tile and a whetstone was also recovered.
