Report on a fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform the proposed construction of a solar farm on land at High Leas, Reston. Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were noted across the site, along with other faint magnetic anomalies possibly indicating the remains of a ditch and a small group of pits. Subsequent trial trenching in this area confirmed the presence of medieval ridge and furrow across the site, but resolved the other anomalies as being of natural origin (see ELI12313).
