Archive for the archaeological evaluation, conducted to assess the impact of proposed development on land at Golf Road, Mablethorpe. The evaluation consisted of an auger survey and the excavation of a trial trench, and was targeted to investigate the remains of a possible saltern, identified by a previously conducted geophysical survey. This feature was revealed to be a dump of modern rubble and burnt material, and no archaeological activity was identified.
