An augering survey was undertaken as part of an archaeological evaluation, conducted to assess the impact of proposed development on land at Golf Road, Mablethorpe. The survey was targeted to investigate the remains of a possible saltern, identified by a previously conducted geophysical survey. This feature was revealed to be a dump of modern rubble and burnt material, and no archaeological activity was identified. {1}{2}
