Abstract/Summary

Archive for the watching brief, undertaken during pile drilling and groundworks for a residential building and garden at Strelizia, Michaelgate, Lincoln. Roman activity was recorded in the form of an upstanding wall with associated occupation layers, and a large assemblage of pottery including tegula was recovered. Pottery dating from the early medieval to the post-medieval periods was also found.
