Full Description
Post-medieval brick and stone walls were recorded during trial trenching on Michaelgate. These may represent the remains of buildings. Finds included pottery sherds and animal bone. {1}{2}
During a watching brief in 2007, at Strelizia, Michaelgate, Lincoln, sherds of pottery making up eleven vessels were found which dated from the post-medieval to modern period. Pottery included local and regional coursewares, industrial finewares and slipware. {3}{4}
