Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of four trial trenches, dug to inform proposed development on land behind the Council Houses, Greatford. Two ditches and a number of pits were recorded, one of which contained 5th-6th century AD material and three pieces of redeposited Roman tile. A separate pit containing a single sherd of 10th-11th century Stamford Ware pottery was also recorded.
