Full Description
An archaeological excavation was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Services in September to November 2010 on land at Hall Lane, Stickney prior to residential development. Area 2 revealed two pits which contained three residual sherds of Roman pottery, a sherd of black burnished ware, a sherd of imported Catalan amphora and a sherd of Nene Valley colour-coated ware. The pits were dated from later periods. {1}{2}
