Full Description

Fourteen evaluation trenches were excavated by Pre-Construct Archaeological Services in 2009 prior to construction of a marina at Eastfield Rise Farm, Cherry Willingham. A vertical wooden post and horizontal wooden posts were found in Trench One West. These may be associated with the late Bronze Age to early Iron Age wooden posts found in Trench East One [PRN 56445]. {1}{2}
