Full Description

An 18th century stable block, now used for storage and a flat. The wall and piers are included in the listing. The stable block was altered in 1840 by William Railton and in the 20th century. It was constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a slate roof with one brick ridge stack and concrete tiled roofs to the lower ranges and a yellow brick wall. Extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the third side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex.
