Standing at the entrance to St Andrew's churchyard, it incorporates a fourteenth century remnant of a square, chamfered, sandstone shaft on a square base with stopped angles mounted on three large steps. The later portion from 1920 consists of an ashlar octagonal shaft surmounted with a hooded cross. The memorial honours the fallen of the First World War and the Second World War. {2}
