Full Description

PRN 38026 Forecourt gateway and screen in a combination of Baroque and Jacobean Revival styles, built c. 1840-1854, probably by Gregory Gregory in collaboration with William Burn and David Bryce. Bronze scuptures were added c. 1938. This gateway is a major feature of Harlaxton Manor, and is notable for its innovative combination of two styles.
