Full Description
Grade II listed house, dating from the 17th century and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is coursed limestone rubble and has a steeply pitched yellow pantile roof with a single ridge and two gable stacks, the right hand one has moulded base and cornice. Anchor Farm, Swinstead. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of L plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
