Full Description
The gates and walls at the Manor House are early 19th century. The wall is built from white brick and coursed limestone rubble and has ashlar dressings. The is a pair of wooden, segment topped gates, with square white brick gate piers topped with ashlar ball finials and, on either side, curved brick walls to further single square gate piers also topped with ball finials. Fifteen metres of brick wall extends to the south and beyond that, between two square brick piers with ball finials, there is a low brick wall with ornate cast iron railings. Beyond that again there is a coursed rubble wall, three metres high, which curves around the corner and runs east for 120 metres.
