Full Description
A shop, now offices, formerly known as 24 and 25 Market Place, dating from the 15th century which underwent alterations in the late 18th, late 19th and 20th centuries. It was constructed of render and stucco and has a slate roof and a single stack behind parapet. The building retains vestiges of earlier 15th century timber framed walls inside. The corn market was held in front of the Peacock Hotel on the site adjacent, now occupied by Boots the Chemist.
