Full Description

Group of five cottages, built in 1774 by the Society of Friends, and sold by them in 1949. What was a modest meeting house survives to the rear as a garage (see MLI125746). Although the buildings have been roughcast rendered, they form a fine group with Yorkshire slider windows in arched heads, elements of 19th century shopfronts and dominant brick ridge stacks. These buildings are considered to be of Townscape Value within the Conservation Area. {1}{2}
