PRN 64784 In about 1849, architect Charles Kirk the younger and builders Kirk and Parry built a lLarge house in Chateau Gothic style, chiefly of two storeys in coursed stone with ashlar dressings and steep roofs in Welsh slate with elaborate iron finials. Asymmetrical. Carved cornice, pinnacles, dragon etc. Very tall cylindrical stone stacks. Windows mainly mullion and transom. Four-centred doorway. Plinth. Balustrade to forecourt. Interior: carved woodwork in entrance hall and stairway.
