Full Description

A parish church dating from 1911, and built by Temple Moore. Some internal works were undertaken in 1939 and the porch was built in 1956. The church was constructed of red brick with cement render and, ashlar dressings and it has a plain tile roof. The church has a nave and aisles, all separately roofed, a south porch and a south meeting room. The sculpture was created in 1956, and takes the form of a carving in Portland stone, lying in a square niche over the porch door. The carving shows an image of St Thomas kneeling to the risen Christ. {2}
