The former Britannia Oil Mill was built in 1856. The short end fronts onto Packhouse Quay, the main landing place in the port of Boston until 1880's when the dock opened. {2}
This building was originally built as the Britannia Oil Mill, an oil seed crushing mill, before conversion into warehouses. {3}
