Full Description
A network of enclosures and trackways has been recorded in a geophysical survey undertaken in 2018 {1}. While the survival of the features appears more piecemeal than elsewhere in the immediate vicinity, the character is largely the same as the area of Iron Age and Roman settlement activity to the immediate northwest although the form may suggest a slightly later, more firmly Roman date.
The north of the site is occupied by a regular, rectilinear system of enclosures with smaller pit-like features within their boundaries, with partial survival of linear features possibly representing trackways on a similar alignment to those to the northwest.
