Full Description

A small assemblage of late medieval and early post-medieval pottery was recovered in June 2003, on land off New Lane, Toynton St Peter. The sherds were found during a site visit conducted to assess the impact of a proposed resewerage scheme at Toynton St Peter and parts of its wider parish. The assemblage comprised twelve sherds of pottery dating from the 14th to 17th centuries. {1}{2} Further sherds of medieval to post-medieval pottery were recovered from this area off New Lane. {3}{4}
