Full Description

PRN 23894 Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) along the proposed route of the A1073 relief road between Eye (near Peterborough) and Spalding. The evaluation identified three, probably related ditches. Two of these ran parallel to each other and the other was roughly perpendicular to both, perhaps indicating a shared date and purpose (not determined). Artefactual evidence was not recovered from these features {1} {2}
