Full Description
PRN 36457
Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) identified a number of undated features; particularly ditches, gullies, pits and post holes. It is thought that the majority of the undated ditches relate to field systems and probably date to the Roman or medieval periods. The clustering and grouping of post holes indicate individual structures, and the gullies appeared to have enclosed areas. It is likely that these features are dated to the Bronze Age and or Iron Age {1} {2}
