Full Description

PRN 44721 During fieldwalking on the route of the proposed Maltby-le-Marsh to Manby Replacement Water Main (28th February to March 31st 2003), a large yet discrete area of limestone, flint rubble, occasional brick and tile was observed in the south-west corner of a field immediately south of the 2 Mile Bank Drain (approximately 500 metres north of Pyewipe Farm). This rubble spread appeared to be the remains of a sub-surface structure that had been disturbed by ploughing and probably dates to between the post medieval to early modern periods. {1} {2}
