Full Description

PRN 54828 A small quantity of worked flint recovered during evaluations on land at Caistor Grammar School, Caistor (7th to 9th May 2003). The assemblage is dated to the Late Mesolithic to the Early Neolithic periods; comprising three blade fragments and eight flakes. Although the assemblage is residual (being found within deposits dated to the Roman period), their presence suggests Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic activity in the near vicinity. {1} {2}
