Romano-British pottery and tiles was found over a 'large area' in association with 4 areas of black soil (possible hut platforms?). Some slight building material evidence was found. {1}{2}
Probable Romano-British settlement site. Seen as distinct rectilinear field systems, rectilinear enclosures and curvilinear ditches on Google Maps ( web site) aerial photograph layer.{3}{4}
