Full Description
Romano-British pottery and tiles found, also some bumps and hollows recognised in same field in October 1971. {1}{2}{3}
In April and May 1978 further field walking was carried out in this field. More pottery was recovered, including sherds of grey ware, colour-coated ware, mortaria, amphora and Samian. Fragments of tile were also recovered. {4}
