Full Description

PRN 36045 Corner Farm dates back to the seventeenth century, and may be earlier. The stable with granary over is of this date, and was raised and altered in 1773. The former farmhouse is also listed (see PRN 39008). For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} A building survey was carried out prior to the conversion of the farm buildings to residential use. The farmhouse (PRN 39008) had undergone various alterations, removing much of the historic fabric although some original features such as a stone mullioned window remain. The granary and stables retain many original features. The threshing barn has been modified including the blocking up of the original full height door with modern brick. {2}{3}
