During trial trenching prior to pipeline laying, several features were recorded in Trench 15, thought to be Prehistoric (later than Mesolithic) in date. Two parallel gullies were aligned north/south; one of these gullies contained a broken, possibly Prehistoric flint blade (most likely to be of Neolithic/Bronze Age date). A curvilinear gully and a posthole may be part of a structure.{1}{2}
