Full Description

PRN 70268 During fieldwalking and trial trenching prior to development, a large assemblage of mostly late Neolithic to Bronze Age worked flint was recovered. The assemblage included flakes, cores, a borer, three denticulates, blades, and a possible plano-convex knife, and is indicative of small-scale domestic settlement with a possible specialist flint knapping area.
