Full Description

PRN 61825 Geophysical survey and trial trenching recorded a small pit, dated to the mid- to late 3rd century from pottery finds, and indicating the probable presence of a previously unknown late Romano-British settlement in the vicinity. Several undated ditches, gullies and a posthole were thought to date to this period, and may be structural in nature. {1}{2}{3}
