Full Description

PRN 61815 During a fieldwalking survey, 25 sherds of medieval and post-medieval pottery were recovered. Sparsely spread across the field, the scatter is not thought to relate to settlement.{1} A single sherd of medieval pottery was found during a watching brief.{2}{3} A single sherd of 13th to 14th century pottery was recovered from a ditch, during a watching brief in October 2008. The sherd occurred in a secondary fill of the ditch and could have been deposited at a much later date than original use of the feature. {5}{6}
