SECTION OF CAR DYKE, ROMAN CANAL. A GULLY BETWEEN TWO BANKS, WHICH STAND c4FT HIGH. UNPLOUGHED. {1}{3} A WELL PRESERVED SECTION OF THE CAR DYKE WHICH HAS BEEN RECENTLY PLOUGHED AND A CORN CROP REMOVED. IT CONSISTS OF A BROAD DITCH c10M WIDE AND 1.2M DEEP WITH A PRONOUNCED BANK c7.0M WIDE AND 1.0M HIGH ON N SIDE. IF THERE WAS ANOTHER BANK IT IS VERY SLIGHT AND NOT EASILY VISIBLE. {2}, AREA 1.5H, HTM 6M
