PRN 60635
A park around Culverthorpe Hall with woodland and formal features dating from the seventeenth century and onwards. The park is open to the south with a drive and approach to the hall through the lawn. There are extensive fishponds to the south stretching half a kilometre east-west. There is an eighteenth century wilderness or woodland to the east, scattered trees in the parkland to the north with a small pool or lake and icehouse to the north. There is a nineteenth century formal garden immediately beyond the terrace to the north of the hall. {1}
