Full Description
Probable Roman settlement activity, to the west of Spridlington. The site is visible as cropmarks of a fragmentary, rectilinear system of conjoined enclosures, measuring on average 140m by 50m. The enclosure complex is partially superimposed on the western side with individual enclosures of varying dimensions. A probable Roman trackway or road leading to the enclosure complex from the west appears to be directly related (though is spearately recorded as MLI50578).
