PRN 53212 The Church of Saints Peter and Lawrence has transitional Perpendicular features. It was much restored in 1878, when the tower was added. {1}{2}{3} No church was mentioned in the Domesday Book, although its location in the earthworks suggests an association with the manor and perhaps a proprietary origin. {4} Stained glass in this church, some of which is in situ, dates to the late 13th to early 14th centuries. {5} A parish church dating from the 12th century which underwent alterations in the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries and was restored in 1868 by G.
