Full Description

A landscape park and lake located around an eighteenth century Hall. There is scattered woodland to the north of the Hall extending in a thin belt to the west of the lake. {3} The park contains Riseholme deserted medieval village. {1} An excavation trench excavated at SK9820 7575 and carried out as part of the development of the proposed student accommodation at Riseholme College revealed no archaeological features. {2}
