Full Description

This is a possible medieval moated site. The northern leg of the moat survives in its original condition. A long fish pond has been adapted from the eastern leg, possibly around the time the present manor house was built. {1}{2}{3} It has been interpreted as a de novo part of a larger post medieval garden layout within which this forms only the south-west quadrant. {4}
