Full Description

The Manor House is said to have been built in about 1730. The moat (PRN 52097) may be an adaptation of a medieval feature but it is likely to be a post medieval garden feature. The present Manor House stands on cellars that apparently survive from an earlier building, and may perhaps relate to Cammeringham Priory. {3} The Manor House is a Grade II* Listed Building dating from the mid 12th century with early 18th and 19th century additions and alterations. The house was constructed of coursed limestone rubble and limestone ashlar, with pantile roofs.
