Full Description
An extensive park, gardens and ornamental lake were laid out at the end of the 18th century before the Hall was built. This park overlies and destroyed part of the settlement earthworks. {1}
A walled park extends from the north west to the south and the south east of the late 18th century Hall, with a slightly sinuous lake of half a kilometre running west to east below the Hall. {3}
