Full Description

The 17th century hall was demolished in 1793 and the present house was built in 1793 to 1795 to the designs of James Lewis. Located to the north east of the house is a mid 18th century stable block which was altered in the late 18th century. The old barn [PRN 56143] and another stable range predate the present house. {1} A mid 19th century stable block and carriage house, now used as garaging and offices which underwent alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of yellow brick, with coursed squared limestone and has part hipped slate roofs with a single brick ridge stack.
