Full Description
Two stone axes, two flint flakes and one scraper were found close to the riverbank and reported in 1966. {1}{2}
The Lincolnshire History and Archaeology journal vol 2 has a (mistaken?) grid reference of SK846861. {2}
Thin-sectioning of the axes before 1973 showed that one of the axes was of group VI (Great Langdale) origin whilst the other was of group XX (Charnwood Forest) origin. {3}
