Full Description
Holton le Moor Railway Station was opened with the start of services on the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire railway line from Lincoln to Barnetby in 1848. The station was closed in about 1965. The station house was built in the same style as all the other stations in this section (see PRN 56686). Iron ore sidings were adjacent to the station. Station fittings included 3 lamp standards on each platform, and one on a wall bracket on the station hosue. The single level crossing gates on the adjacent Market Rasen road were operated from the signal box (see PRN 56687). {1}
