Full Description

A former signal box at Holton le Moor Railway Station, which was opened in October 1848, and was closed to all traffic in 1965. The building was constructed of timber on red brick footings, and featured a pitched slate roof. Both the main entrance to the 1st floor and access to the ground floor was by doors on the southern elevation. The single level crossing gates on the adjacent Market Rasen road were operated from the signal box. {1}
