Full Description

Blyborough Hall is an early 18th century two storey house of L-shape with a hipped roof. The entrance front has seven irregular bays. Nattes' drawing of 1794 shows a wing on the north side, which appears to have now gone. {1} Blyborough Hall is said to be largely a late 17th century or early 18th century remodelling of an earlier, possibly medieval, structure, with later 18th century and 19th century additions. {2} For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {3} Blyborough Hall, Blyborough. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {4}
