Full Description
Two low mounds lying on the northern edge of the shrunken settlement of Newball village. Marked as 'tumuli' on the first edition 1 inch Ordnance Survey map of 1824, they are barely discernible on the ground now, and may both have been windmill mounds, as the field name 'High Mill Field' suggests. {1}
