Cropmarks of linear boundaries situated to the north-west of Washdyke Hill. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}
AN AREA AT SK99757560 WAS EXCAVATED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WELTON TO LINCOLN TRUNKMAIN PIPELINE ROUTE, AT RISEHOLME LANE, AND PREHISTORIC FEATURES AND PREHISTORIC AND ROMAN POTTERY WERE DISCOVERED. SEE 52349,52350. EVIDENCE WAS FOUND FOR THE PRESENCE OF A BANK BETWEEN THE WEST AND CENTRAL DITCHES. {7}
A watching brief during the construction of the Nettleham village mains replacement scheme revealed a possible continuation of the ditch at Washdyke Hill (TF 000 752). {8}{9}
